The short version
Am I Tripping?! has no accounts, no sign-up, no tracking, and no ads. We don't know your name, email, or phone number, and we never ask. Your cases live on your device and in your own private iCloud. The only thing that leaves your phone is the text of a case you choose to submit — and it travels through our secure relay solely to generate the judges' responses, nothing more.
What we collect
Case text you submit. When you consult a judge, the text you wrote is sent through our relay server to our AI providers to generate the judge's reactions and verdict. This text is not linked to your name or identity — we don't have your identity to link it to.
Screenshots you attach. If you add a screenshot to a case, it is converted to text once for the judges to read. The image itself is not kept by our relay or reused afterward.
That's the full list. No contact details, no location, no analytics profiles.
Our relay server
Requests from the app pass through a relay server we operate. It exists for one reason: to keep security credentials out of the app on your phone. The relay does not log or store the content of your cases — it passes your text to our AI providers and returns their response.
What stays on your device
- Your case history and verdicts — stored locally on your iPhone.
- Your ticket balance and unlocks — stored in your private iCloud (CloudKit), readable only by you through your Apple ID. We cannot access your private iCloud data.
Third parties
Anthropic (Claude). Generates judge verdicts from the case text you submit, subject to Anthropic's own privacy practices.
Google (Gemini). Generates the judges' quick in-conversation reactions and converts attached screenshots to text, subject to Google's own privacy practices.
Cloudflare. Hosts the relay infrastructure that carries requests between the app and our AI providers.
Apple. Handles all purchases through the App Store and syncs your private data through iCloud. We never see your payment details — Apple keeps those entirely on their side.
Nobody else. No analytics companies, no ad networks, no data brokers.
Purchases & refunds
Verdict tickets and judge unlocks are in-app purchases processed by Apple. Refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Deleting your data
Delete the app and everything stored on your device goes with it. To clear data synced to your private iCloud, email us and we'll walk you through it — or manage your iCloud storage directly in iOS Settings.
Children
Am I Tripping?! is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date stamped at the top. Material changes will be flagged inside the app.
